I am currently taking Digital Image Design 1, which is an introductory class to Photoshop and Illustrator. For this project, I had to create a self-portrait in Photoshop. I was required to have a picture of me in it and then we were free to do whatever else we wanted. I chose to have a "Dream" theme to the project. I put myself on a king card to show that I control my "dream". I put my cat on top of the card because I like animals and it would be out of the ordinary to see a cat laying on a card since the proportions would be off. I put a piano in the scene because I have been playing the piano since around 2nd grade. I included a giant me that looks like I am fading/disappearing. I had myself walking on a road because I like to go on adventures and travel. I put all of these on an "iceberg" which is a picture of a mountain I took. I then put this in the picture of an ocean. I included a photo of downtown Denver that I took on spring break. My favorite place to go on vacation is to a big city like NYC or LA. I applied a filter to the image that makes it look like the buildings are being sucked in to the side. This goes along well with the picture of me walking on the road because they are both being faded/destroyed. Finally, I included a picture of trees because it wouldn't be normal to see trees growing out of the ocean. I made the roots by taking a picture of the trees but where the leaves were and then blended them.
