With the brief given to construct a bodice with explorative style lines, i came up with this design for a bodice using color blocking technique and stylelines starting from the front, continuing to the right sleeve, then goes to the back , continues to the left sleeve and then finally meets the starting point in the front at the placket. The bodice has been completed with a mandarin collar.
The inspiration for the color combination has been taken from the peppermint candy, where the pink and white color swirls in a way similar to my design.
To complete the ensemble the bodice has been teamed with a basic navy blue skirt.
This was one of my first attempts at creative pattern making and garment construction.
