"Visual Rhymes, The Power of Metaphor" was conceived as a conversation photo tennis, one photographer sending an image to the other, and the other person responding with a photo in turn. Each set of photos presents a different point of view, and paired with prose, also becomes collaboration. My job was to juxtapose both photographers’ images in a way that allowed the “conversation” between them to flow. This was also the first in a series of their book collaborations, so styling had to have a common thread between each volume, yet accommodate each different theme. The content and text for this book was created solely by Eileen McCarney Muldoon and Olaf Willoughby.
