KSM
Working on a competition submission for an art movement inspired furniture piece, KSM aimed to draw inspiration from Suprematist utopias architecture style with particular connection to the artist Kazimir Severinovich Malevich.
The basic geometric forms were carried over into a simplistic concept for a dresser. The idea would be that with only a single board leaning on a wall, as opposed to legs, it could allow for ease with both flat pack and assembly.
A simple foam board model was constructed to further understand the form.
The final proposal was the KSM, which would have the bold geometry and bright colouring as well as a cheap furniture solution.
