Similar to Arjuna even Karna was known for his archery, his bulls’ eye aim and
his judgements in the field of war. As described in the mythological literature,
Karna learned his first lesson of archery while playing with his brother ‘Shona’
outside their house in Champanagar. Later, he was trained by Acharya Drona in
Kauravas' kingdom of Hastinapur. In this sculpture, the strong and focused Karna has taken an unmistakable aim with a determination of a warrior on the field.
