John Woodward's profile

WIM: A typeface inspired by Wim Crouwel

Wim Crouwel was a highly influential and experiemental designer working in the Swiss style. One of his most controversial (among designers) projects was the New Alphabet, a typeface designed to work on early low-resolution monitors. I researched Wim, his work and his theories, and modernized The New Alphabet while still keeping his design principles alive.
