We developed the concept for an extraordinary indoor festival campsite for the Amsterdam Dance Event, the world's biggest electronic music festival. Our concept linked two elements: on the one hand the need for accommodation for the festival's 60,000 visitors, and on the other hand the large amounts of vacant office spaces in Amsterdam. By creating a hyper-temporary campsite inside vacant real estate, building owners could draw attention to their property, and the Amsterdam Dance Event could offer its visitors an extremely psychedelic space to sleep.
