Mechanized Forestry

Mechanized Forestry is a pop-up temporary installation occupying Pier 26 in New York. Its primary principle is the visual communication and visceral experience of climate change, particularly through the lens of deforestation and individual scalar environmental awareness.
Over 600 columns align along a skewed grid, turning from the site boundaries to address the earth's true North-South directions. By shifting this direction, this indicates a conceptual rethinking of our place among larger systems.
