In this project we learnt the way fabric can be draped into a three dimensional form. We will look into the physicality of fabric and how this can take any form through the making process.
In the first part of the workshop we focused on the techniques of draping through “making” and “finding” from a historical and cultural perspective. During the second part the took forward the basics learnt, choosing the right material that expresses the body or object as a final outcome in the process.
Here the stones are the base and the garment is constructed on stones.
