NSF/ANSI 350-1 Certified Greywater Filtration System

  • This project was a collaboration between Dystil under the owner, Miles Keller and Greyter Water Systems. The objective was to create a residential unit capable of processing all the greywater produced by the average family home. Cost, ease of assembly, size and ergonomics were the main concerns of the project. I was placed in charge of client-designer contact (in addition to my roll as part of the design team) and coordinated the relationship between engineers and designers.
  • Product inspiration and early concept sketches.
  • Frontal form exploration.
  • Sizing accessibility and ergonomics.
  • Sketch for final form modeling.
  • Handles for easy installation and movement. The aluminum vertical segments are both aesthetic and functional as the unistrut framework.
