Adinkra Symbols were originally created by the Akan people of West Africa representing concepts or aphorisms.
These decorative symbols have meanings and convey traditional wisdom. Adinkra in Akan language means goodbye. They are printed onto fabric and worn during funerals to say goodbye to the departed.
All these symbols will soon be published on my website and you will be able to buy them as posters or vector images: http://www.3bcdesigns.com
