The Glitter Drawings reference forms I’ve used before in my jewelry work as well as in the Shadow Dream and Aqua, Grey Wave, and GloWave.  “Drawing” with glue is a meditative process as I had to move quickly and without stopping and without time to think or plan.  This process felt very different from my other more methodical and thoughtful ways of making and I enjoyed the challenge of keeping the glue bead even and the necessity of making quick decisions.  These drawings expand out from the center as I draw and I would love to continue to grow these drawings, literally covering a whole wall or a whole room with these lines that sparkle and mesmerize.  This is also inspiration for a three dimensional drawing that I would like to make by translating these forms into the third dimension with wire and covering them with glitter.
