For both looks 1 and 2 the dupioni is manipulated by having machine sewn lines and black tulle layers over the dupioni. The machine sewn lines give the fabric a pinstripe look while the black tulle darkens the color. Look 2 is enhanced by hand beading detail on the bodice.
