• Before/After is a book designed around the short story of the same name by Mary McCluskey. The story is broken up into three smaller subtexts that all deal with characters discovering unfortunate news. McCluskey draws the readers attention to the points immediately before and after each of these characters receives their fate. The characters all have this sense of that they know, there is no going back to the way things once were. I found this to be a fascinating thought. I used text and imagery that compliments McClusky's writing and conveys these pivotal plot points in a visual way.
