The brief for this classroom project was to pick up an inspiration from the old and forgotten lanes of the city I live in, Ahmedabad. My theme thus came to revolve around the clotheslines that adorn these crowded residential areas. To be seen in all colours and patterns, the drying laundry forms an integral part of the cityscape here.
