The Ampeg BA Series needed a facelift. The design goal is to leverage an amp that wouldn't stand apart from an artist, but rather blend in as an essential tool. The contrasting black tones look great in person, and the light-up logo stands out really well.
The new series also has a new user experience as well: the angled cabinet allows a user to lay the amp on it's side, and have the sound directed towards the ears, instead of the knees. As shown above.

The "Ampeg" and "Scramber" logos are back-lit with LEDs, a lighting effect I learned from designing DJ gear.
Overall, I consider the project a great success - we've had lots of positive feedback from users. We also walked away from NAMM 2015 with a "Best In Show" award.
