The Invisible Shoe

My main inspiration for my design.
Fiam was founded by Vittoria Livi in 1973 as devolpers of glass furniture. The idea of which seems quite unatural , however there designs are exquisite, and highly durable. Most of there creations are inspired by this illlusion of them being insvible. The Invisible table however became my inpiration for the wedge heal of my shoe.

In order to  build my wedge I decided on using plexi glass . However to understand the measurements of my heel , i used Plasticine and molded the sole. After while I cut the glass using a laser cutter, and shaped the heel further using hand tools.

For my final presentation I created an environment that would help my shoe   camouflage .To do so i created this collage by using pictures from my trip that described the colors and and ambiance of Italy.
