The Brief; Design and create a publication for the Royal Institute of Philosophy to acompany their Past and Present lecture series. 

Approach; Focusing on ease of navigation within the publication in order to make a traditionally complex subject more accessible to a wider audience.

 

Sorting lecture transcripts based on subject and colour coding in order to create clear sections. Also adding coloured pull quotes within the text to further re-inforce the colour coded nature of the publication, as well as highlighting important/interesting quotes.

 

The use of negative space within the pages and short line measures also helps to break up the complex subject matter in order to make it easier to read.
