This is the second image for the NYC Gay Men's Chorus that I've done. This was for thier biggest show, the fun sing-a-long show. The image gets used on the postcards, the program, and all the various ads and websites.
I do all the production work and the program as well.
These were my three thumbnail idea's. One thing we needed to avoid was using images of famous people that are copyrighted. So we decided that the extra's should be dressed up as characters, rather than try and actually be those characters.
A spread from the program. They like me to pick up the theme and colors from the image for the program. The last time, I took the various characters from the cover and scattered them through the program. I could have done that this time, but didn't want to repeat myself. So I created some simple movie themed images to tie in.
