In August 2014, I participated in an international ecological expedition, which was engaged in the cleaning of accumulated garbage left by people on the island White (73.310045, 71.109109).
The expedition consisted of citizens of Russia, Germany, Israel, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan.
These three weeks were not the easiest in my life, filled with heavy work, neighborhood with wild animals, as well as communication with the only resident of the island - the head of the meteorological station - Nikolai Ivanovich, who spent on the island last 7 years, and his faithful four-legged friend - the dog Boatswain.
In the photos I wanted to show the hard work of volunteers, and everyday life on the island.
