Since the target demographic for Jumbo Buffet are families, we wanted to choose a vibrant color. The color we ended up picking was red. Red symbolizes good luck and happiness in the Chinese culture. The ship seen in the final logo is also significant. The Icon is inspired by the Junk ship; a transportation device developed back in the Song Dynasty and is still used today. The ship symbolizes longevity, which is what this business is striving for.
