I was shocked a couple of times during our trip. I even managed to get hit by a coconut, what luck! The culture is very colorful and it was a nice experience overall. What I enjoyed mostly is that I got to finally build our design in a larger scale for Landscape Architecture. For designing in Architecture, we didn't get to do that. Also working collaboratively and having our "maci"s (means "friend" in Tamil) around to help us was quite nice. Even though most of the architectural aspects consisted of the structured brick walls, we ended up with a very functional landscape design including them. Hope I come back to Sri Lanka one day, yet I don't want to see (or chip) bricks for a while.  :)
