A friend of mine recently turned 25. He's a fantastic guy, and he's been good enough to give my work exposure by asking me to design his bands artwork and album cover and other various design jobs.

 

So as a thank you and happy birthday, I decided to make him his own custom deck.

 

I'm happy to say he was more than happy with the final result.

 

The Skatewitch name stems from the Witchcraft Hardware skate brand that he's a big fan of.

 

The board was plain maple 8.0", and the design was drawn directly onto the board after being vigourously sanded down. There was lots of drawing, rubbing out and redrawing before the final thing was burnt on using my pyrography tool.
