-Coo'kit- is my end of study project! I wanted to put the user in the middle of one of our main issue of the century, which is energy consumption. So I thought about the kitchen as being a place of life and consumption.

Giving the user, or the "chef" the possibilities to actually do something about it. To aware everybody that we can consume our products and food in a better and easier way!

Every kitchen furniture got its own way to show you how to cook in a different way!
As the main goal was to consume less, I also wanted the furniture to be consumed in a new way, so I designed them as open-sourced furnitures!

Those three furnitures can be downloaded and build by the "chef" without the use of any glue, screw or whatsoever!

-Coo'kit- is composed by three furnitures: a drainboard, a chopping block and a dining table!
This drainboard, by using a two floor elevation and gravitional force is becoming an alternative to the fridge! You can now store your vegetables and fruits in an cold and fresh closed area without the use of electricity. When wet sand is located in the middle of two ceramic pots its created fresh air while the water is evaporating!
The chopping block is here to put the selective sorting in the heart of the cooking process! While the chopping board is the top cover of the garbage area, it's allowing you to quickly and easy sort your waste. It is up to you to personalize the two garbages, one for the organic waste and the other for carboard waste for example!
Last but not least, the table! By placing what we called a "norvegian pot" in the middle of the table I wanted the family, or the hosts to gathered around a new way of consumption that it is. So everybody can actually see the result of changing their consumption's habits! A norvegian pot is simply composed of a insulated box which can contain any kind of pot! With a cork cover that is also a table mat, to put the pot on when it is done!
