My father and a few of his friends wanted a crew badge for their jackets. So i made this old-school style badge of Tin Tin (In dutch the name is Kuifje). And my father used to wear Kuifje MC letters on his baseball badge in the 80's. What i used is Tin Tin on a motorcycle, it is inspired of his tattoo on his arm. Only this Tin Tin has newer clothes, my father used the one that was used in the first make of the cartoon. I used old collors, like the salm-colored ring is inspired on an old tire with the same color. I used western style typography. I put Tin Tin more in the right of the image so it looks like he is riding out of it. The village we live in is called Zuidhorn, but Southorn sounded more fun. All in all the badge is a fun badge for my father and his friends.
