To be hungry, to me, embodies what it's like to want someone to love. Something to satiate the insatiable: a fulfilling experience of the soul. A burrito to the belly, if you will. You can't always help it if your stomach grumbles, or if you see two people kissing and it makes you feel some type of way.

 

Upon recent acceptance of my existential circumstance--being a hopeless romantic-- I have come to terms with my highly intimate desires. Through a series of sketches and illustrations, I created a character set that seemed to capture my feelings in a visual way. They're not too detailed and pretty uncomplicated, although they experience the most detailed and complicated human venture there is: love.

 

That being said, I have a really good appetite, but sometimes I just want a snack.
