These spreads live as part of a collaborative book, utilizing content aggregated through the act of committing to twelve activities over the course of a week. Produced at a time of significant change in place, and in life, and involving acts that range from the mundane to very personal, the content became centered around hyper-introspection. The spreads move through seven imagined stages of introspection, going from the macro towards the micro; a black frame reduces over the course of the spreads, and the scale of the type and content increase. These visual cues work to gradually bring the reader in closer, and bring form to the sensation of introspection – at times manifested in an intense focus on detail, and at others a distorted sense of place and time.
