USER NEEDS & VALUES
We held interviews and surveys with students at RISD asking them the pros and cons of working in a collaborative environment in an attempt to understand how our product could answer user needs and concerns in the best way possible.
Creating user personas helped with beginning to envision who our users are and how they might navigate through the product.

A beehive is a structure that is created by many bees working together to a home for themselves. We wanted our users to view this website in the same way as a beehive; as a space that shelters creative and inspirational ideas.
Each hive or “pod” serves to shelter and nurture inspiring ideas and concepts so that students and professionals are able to participate and share their interests.
A digital platform that shelters interesting ideas and discussions led by students, advisors, and anyone else who is interested in and passionate about sharing his or her vision.
