This piece is a critique on sex education in America. As the daughter of two doctors, I never understood why some of my friends didn't understand sexual intercourse or things about their body. I always questioned why there is such a taboo on sex and why it is misunderstood and everyone's different level of sex education. 

 

So I made sex toys. These are wood block toys to help parents or teachers educate and help teach kids from a young age about sex. 

First presented in very nice gift boxes- generic, clean packaging.

As the class unwrapped it, they began to play and figure out how they worked. 

This was based off of the generic shape puzzles made of wood to teach kids baisc shape and color association and to hopefully help parents teach their kids about sex education from a young age so it isn't as awkward of a subject to talk about later on.
