The brief was to design a temporary building(secreteria) for University of Ferrara, which will be accessed by the students and the addmistration for educational purpose.
The building form is inspired by modularity and the addition of blocks(multiples of 6).The interior and the exterior of the building has layers of illumination to keep the space warm in winters and wooden panel finish(oak)on the exterior.

The ground floor plan includes office space for 5 people(90msq), a meeting space (100msq), secreteria space and washroom.
Xlam Construction
The construction involves were cross laminated timbers are mutually intersected and glued together to make panels. These panels are suitable for the construction of the walls floor and ceiling. The construction offers high stability and ease in assembling, combined with resistance to seismic activity.
The office building follows certain attributes such as highest level of sustianability, saftey, and the type of construction known as the Xlam.
