The following series of designs are inspired on the traditional textile art "mola" of the indigenous group Kuna from Colombia and Panama.
The mola originated with the tradition of Kuna women painting their bodies with geometrical designs, using available natural colours; in later years these same designs were woven in cotton, and later still, sewn using cloth.
If you look carefully into the image you will find hidden couples kissing or hugging.
