3 Bedroom Apartment Design

The Brief
As per the Client's Requirement:

There would be 4 people living in the house. Me(25+), my little brother(20+), elder brother(30+) and his wife in future. I would like to have this place as residential purpose with the suitable workspaces in the each bedroom containing the basic requirements of a desk and table with a cupboard. The house should have a touch of traditional things. Ventilation and natural light should be the first priority. The colour scheme of the house will be important and should be chose for the relaxation and soothing  of mind and eyes. A comfortable space with a chaise lounge should be the things in the living room. Also in living room, lower sitting should be there where all will be having a family time together. Balconies should have plants and sitting arrangements. Dining table should be besides kitchen so that the person in the kitchen should not get separated from others. And there should be a opening from wall or an arrangement so that one can easy share conversation as well as the stuffs. Basin should be in the corner. The bathrooms should be attached to each bedroom as an extra bathroom as common in the hallways. The knockers should be there on each door. The workspaces should  be near the balcony or the window for the natural light. Side tables besides bed is must. Furniture should be designed in a way to get enough space to move around. Bathroom should have showers/bathtubs. space for paintings on walls should be there.
Design Brief
Various Iterations of the 3 bedroom apartment
The Concept
The requirements given by the client was very clear and straight forward. Most of her needs were easily taken care of. The living room had to be designed with low seating so I put in mattresses on the floor with a lot of pillows. I even added two poufs to this area. I added a small dining space within the kitchen that could easily seat three people. Workspaces were provided in all three rooms of the house.
Final Draft and Furniture Layout
The Challenges
Although I provided a dining area inside the kitchen, I was concerned about the privacy of the family when they have guests over for dinner, so I added a small dining table just outside the kitchen as well. This would not be used regularly but would become a necessity in certain situations.
Keeping in mind the guests, I created another seating area which would have a sofa as everyone who came into the house would probably not be comfortable sitting on the floor level mattresses.
