Cinema 4D was the main tool used to create this video. Turbulence FD was used to create the fire effects and After Effects was used for post.

One of my favorite things about this video is how the flames wrap around the baseball about mid way through. It was as simple a setting the TFD tag to recognize the baseball as collision object. The sparks also bounce off the baseball, but they were done using the standard C4D emitter and a collider tag.

My second favorite part is the flame passing over the text. This was done by extruding C4D text, making it editable, adding the TFD tag to the object to emit from it. Then to get the flame to sweep from left to right, I added an animated gradient texture in the luminance channel to the text object and directed the TFD tag to emit from the luminance of that texture.
