In this project, we were asked to embroider the story of our life. My concept was Dilemma. I did a patchwork depicting my confusion with regard to my ambition in life over the years.
I started of with an engine in the first patch, as I wanted to become an engine driver when I was in kindergarten (quite unusual, I know). The second patch was the "I want to be an artist" phase. When I was in my early teens I wanted to pursue architecture- which I've depicted in the third patch.
After that, came a phase where I was quite lost and felt the need of some guidance. And finally, I found my calling, which is the field of design- embroidered in the last patch.
