Book cover design for a college assignment. I had to design a book cover that would interpret a part of the story. I wanted to create the moment the aliens in War of the Worlds started attacking Earth, showing a chaotic scene emphasising the size and power of the machines.
I used Adobe Illustrator's to create my images. The use of murky colours go well with the theme I was trying to create. I tried perspective techniques to try make the machines look like they're at different distances and to emphasise the size of them.
