Besides navigation and music, There isn't much we can do with the screen and those new operating systems in car right now. What will be the next essential feature for a car-based OS?
We performed some very casual interviews with our friends, mostly working professionals in their late 20s or early 30s to get a rough idea about what information is gethered and processed before, during and after driving.
Observations across two weeks also inspired us on what are the activities tidely connected to the driving experience.
Exploration
Ordering things from a drive-through stood out as a well-developed experience yet lots of improvement could be made with the introduction to digital interfaces.
Browse the menu on the screen in your car. The drive through order feature should be enabled by geo-fence: it will appear only when you arrive at the restaurant or the cafe. It stays active only when the car is not moving.
