Learned how to use basic tools in metal shop from cutting metal to connecting them together.
Step 1: Phase I Prototype
Created organic shapes using Aluminum. Played with various types of modules. Then discovered triangular module, and settled with that shape.
Step 2: Phase II Prototype
Using triangular modules, developed similar but different forms of organic shapes. Triangular modles were connected together by rivets. Wanted to create shape of a sphere.
Step 3: Phase III Prototype
Final prototype before the final model. Did not use riveits. Instead choose a hollow brass tubing to connect and hammered both sides to secure pieces together.
Step 4: Final Product
Final product connected with brass tubing. Created a sphereical swirl. Surface polished with fine sandpaper.
