My fascination for transformation in materials led me to experiment with melting food. I drew the paths for the melting ingredients on different containers. Using a positive wood then molding plastic with a vacuum molder.
I added a spout to encourage savoring to the last drop. This is a frosted caramel Rhum Baba before and after being exposed to the heat. It goes from a strange amber sphere to a flowing fine dessert.
My serie of plates represents the relief of the melting zones. These models eliminate the need for spoons and invites the diners to play with their plate.
