This project was about Uniforms. What they symbolize, what the deeper meaning of their use is and how they have been used in the fashion industry. Inspired by my travels to Thailand I chose to look into the Buddhist monk uniform and the Thai police uniform. For the Buddhist monk dress I talked to natives and had them explain to me how it is worn and how the hierarchy depends on the way the fabric is put on the body. My final designs where a mixture between these two contradictory uniforms.
