Background:
Bristol based producers & DJ's approached me to help them create a new identity for their live weekly radio slot. Primarily a Hip-hop centric 2 hour broadcast, the show focuses on the more progressive side of current beat makers, whilst also giving a hefty nod to the classics & all encompassing aspects of the culture.
Inspiration:
A strong & simple emblem was needed, so that eventually it could be recognised instantly across any format. With the past & future needing to be taken into consideration, I took the show's initials to create a classic New York throw-up done with a digital twist. Classic bubble letter style queues taken from such graffiti originators as SEEN & Cope2.
