The last install in the series was focused on the German side-only, with a complete graphical overhaul, including the long-awaited 3D interaction in the submarines and docking bays and a new, streamlined interface.

Challenges: the HUD had to be minimalistic and slick, but with the option of expanding in various places. It also had to keep the 'look' of WW2, while acting and feeling modern - a true overhaul.
