Below is a series of three posters using Jackson Burke's Trade Gothic font family as inspiration and building blocks. Every aspect of the design is informed by Trade Gothic's industrial style and its widespread usage in cites and architectural spaces.
The spaces featured in the posters are studio photographs of a physical letterform constructed from sheets of laser-cut black foamcore, creating an unusual (and very unexpected) ribbing effect on the outside of the form.
