Of course, literature is a conversation, one that can span decades and centuries, surpass both geographic and physical space. Yet so often we think of it as a solitary, linear action. && is a two-part book that intentionally subverts the singular reading experience. To fully experience the interwoven text, it must be read aloud & across the span of its structure. What does it mean to have a conversation (through text)? Can we ever bridge the gap? To what and whom can we connect through a book?
