Inspired by color studies and artwork by Cruz Diez this piece explores ideas of perception and color as the eye blends the yellow and blue threads to create a green color. Experimenting with different materials opens pathways to new forms and structures for me. Interpreted in steel at a larger scale I envision this piece experienced from inside viewing the rays of color above one's head.
