This kinetic wire sculpture is a response to the levels of seperation one experiences designing in 3D on the computers. It is a steel wire sculpure with a projector, casting a congruent shadow right behind it.

The first instance of this seperation is seen in how one move the sculpture. By pushing the outer ring, the viewer moves the inner object with very little control, as it begins to spin gyroscopically. This references the disconnect between moving a mouse and and manipulating an object on screen.

The other instance of the disconnect is in the shadow cast by the projector. It references the disconnect in manipulating 3D objects seen on a 2D screen.
