An exploration of my own self and body.
Initially the idea was to show my insecurities through the paintings which I did with the large painting of my knees. The goal was to come out of the semester of Advanced Painting having grown a sense of confidence of my body. As I went on with the project I realized how this was being achieved through the process of posing for reference photos as opposed to being depicted through the paintings.
