Taken individually, each piece seems abstract and confusing. But viewed along side other snapshots the overall sky imagery becomes clearer. These paintings present what may seem banal or obvious, something the viewer is accustom to seeing every day, and prompts the audience to consider what exactly the sky is: a phenomenon that is consistent, yet unpredictable.

This is a series based off the sky as a conceptual paradox. To quote a young poet: "The sky is one vast ever changing painting". Indeed, the sky is constantly shifting from cloudy to clear, from a layered landscape to a thin blanket, from light to dark. And yet, the sky is an entity whose existence remains constant no matter where we are and throughout our lifetimes.
