This project started off as a plain white paper cut out with many layers. (right) Each layer contained a different aspect of the image and different details were added onto each layer. This was the first large scale work that I have completed and it inspired me to create a colour version which is seen on the left. The colour version is the inverted version of the paper cut out and the colour was added with watercolour and guoache. Each layer is raised witht double-sided tape and this gives it a three dimensional effect.
