This project was part of a series of portraits of family and friends. It was done in watercolour and gouache paints on watercolour paper. The frame around the portrait is made from paper with patterns cut out of it using a scalpel. I have attached it to the original drawing with double sided tape in orde to give it a raised and sowewhat three dimensional effect.
