Saga Reinterpretation: Double Act League.

A workshop brief: Reinterpret and create a single page comic done based on Saga's Introduction dialogue. This was a fun one, and it helped that I had not read Saga prior to creating this.

The concept I came up with was this:

For the longest time, when the world was in peril, one superhero will be chosen from the crowd through 'Chosen One' auditions to fight. This formula failed time and time again, and the superheroes' inflated egos proved too difficult to work as a team. A team of scientists then ask to experiment on the superheroes, who consent, and their powers are experimented on and altered to win against the recent evil invasion on earth. The scientist board think they have found a solution against the teamwork problem and the lack of superhero power. By syncing two different superheroes into one being, in powers, mind and body, their powers are unmatched. As long as they are matched in personality temperments and body chemistry, everything goes well. The Double Act League is formed, which avoids superhero feuds and binds superheroes legally to their duties. They begin to win numerous fights across the universe, and all is well. Or so they think...
